Pakistan Television has sent a notice of damages to former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar stating that his on-air resignation has caused huge financial loss to Pakistan Television.

The legal notice states that Article 22 of the agreement reached between Pakistan Television and Shoaib Akhtar states that both parties can terminate the agreement, however, it will be necessary to give three months’ notice or Then you will have to pay the equivalent salary.

The legal notice said that Shoaib Akhtar went to Dubai during the T20 World Cup without informing PTV and there he appeared in an Indian TV show with Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh.
The notice further said that Shoaib Akhtar violated the agreement by being absent from the PTV program ‘Game On Hai’ during the T20 World Cup and at the same time he participated in the programs of two private channels. Has also violated his agreement.
According to PTV, under the agreement, he was bound to appear only on PTV during the T20 World Cup.
Shoaib Akhtar expressed his frustration over the legal notices being sent by Pakistan Television and clarified that he is a fighter and he will fight this legal battle.
Shoaib Akhtar also said in his tweet that his lawyer Salman Niazi would look into the matter in accordance with the law.
